The 7-piece animated NFT assortment contains 4 designs: a 1-of-1 NFT that includes The Weeknd’s November 2021 Billboard cowl — which introduced his Sizzling 100 achievement — in addition to three buying and selling playing cards impressed by the music video for “Blinding Lights.” Every one is signed by The Weeknd.

“Through this collection, we’re excited to offer music fans a new, innovative format that allows them to engage further with our rankings and deepen their connection to an important milestone in music history,” Julian Holguin, president of Billboard, mentioned in a press release. “The Weeknd’s NFTs capture the excitement that ‘Blinding Lights’ inspires, and music fans and collectors alike will gravitate towards these NFTs and be proud to own them for years to come.”
The gathering was created in partnership with Tom Brady’s NFT platform, Autograph, in addition to fashionable NFT market OpenSea, and Karvin Cheung, a Billboard collaborator, buying and selling card veteran and founding father of The Infinite. The NFTs go up for public sale Dec. 20 at 5 p.m. ET on OpenSea; the public sale ends Dec. 23 at 1 p.m. ET. Bids can be accepted in ETH. The Weeknd’s NFT assortment can also be out there to view on Autograph; the singer-songwriter joined Autograph’s board of administrators within the fall, and helps launch its music vertical together with his NFT assortment.
